Hi, I’m Joey Raymer, and this is Newhouse Raymer Construction.

This all started in a garage with a handful of tools, a lot of sawdust, and a love for building things that last. I’ve always believed in working with my hands and doing things the right way—from patching up drywall to crafting one-of-a-kind wood pieces that’ll outlive us both.

I didn’t grow up dreaming of running a construction and custom wood business. I just found myself always fixing things, building for friends, and being the person everyone called when something needed to be done right. One job led to another, and before I knew it, this turned into a real thing. A damn good thing, too.

Over the years, I’ve put together a small, tight-knit crew that takes pride in what we do. We’re not just clocking in—we care. We treat your home like it’s our own, whether we’re patching up drywall, remodeling your bathroom, or building you a custom clock that starts conversations.

We’ve had our share of proud moments—local art markets showcasing our woodwork, happy repeat customers, and word-of-mouth praise that keeps us going. But the best recognition? That’s when a customer looks at the finished work and says, “That’s better than I imagined.”
